Vessels, Agitators and Double Motion Grease Kettles  Patterson provides both conventional and half-pipe jackets for vessels, along with: Side Entering Agitators Turbine Agitators and Agitated Storage Tanks.  Patterson Grease Kettles feature a double motion agitator, consisting of a unique anchor-style stirrer with wall scrapers and pitched cross arms, which assist in creating a top-to-bottom flow pattern for liquid. The wall scrapers prevent material from accumulating on interior walls, assuring full heat transfer from the jacket to the contents. The increased heat transfer rate and shortened blend time result in shorter batch times and more uniform products.  A DTGM double-motion gear reducer—designed and used exclusively by Patterson—provides dependable, no downtime service for decades.
